Hello all and welcome to another Weekly Wrap Up!! It’s been a crazy week for me, that’s for sure!!
Books Read
- Days of Blood and Starlight: 4 stars. Wow! I didn’t enjoy this quite as much as DOSAB, but still amazing! And the ending was insane!!
- Listen To Your Heart: 3.5 stars. This whole podcast idea was so cute! It was definitely original, which I really appreciated! And the whole end of summer theme is perfect for this time of year.
- The Confidence Code For Girls: 5 stars. This isn’t a novel–it’s the first non fiction book I’ve read this year, and I really appreciated it since I struggle in social situations getting ready to go back to school.
- Now A Major Motion Picture: 2.5 stars. There were some good themes in here, but overall it was pretty lame in my opinion.
- By Your Side: 2 stars. My least favorite Kasie West to date–sorry. It was way too contrived and flat for me
Reading Next
Honestly, I have no idea. I know that my reading is going to slow down significantly now that school has started, unfortunately. I do have Dreams of Gods and Monsters checked out from the library, so I might hop on that.

Life Happenings
- I started school on Thursday. Definitely not very happy about that, haha. And it’s really remarkable the amount of shit that teachers can assign in the first two days back, but I guess that’s just high school.
- Side note: why is it that no high school protagonists are drowning under schoolwork?? I sure am! Comment below if you relate haha ❤
- I’m really sorry that I’m SO BEHIND on replying to comments, commenting back, and checking my feed. I’m probably going to miss a few of your lovely posts because back to school has me so swamped and I’m sorry!! I’m definitely trying to get caught up and back to normal feed reading in no time haha.
- I crossed 600 followers this week! Thank you all so much ❤ You’re amazing and I’m so grateful ❤
- I also passed seven months of blogging this week! Can’t believe I’ve been at this crazy thing for seven whole months! I’m starting to feel old haha.

Hi, I follow your blog and Days of Blood and Starlight was showing up in my reader feed. I love the cover 🙂 I’m not in school and am so happy about that lol. Seriously I haven’t heard of Kasie West. I loved Daughter of Smoke and Bones, but I wasn’t happy about the 2nd and 3rd book in the series. I hope you read it and like it. Happy Weekend!
