So, in case you somehow don’t know, I am a Swiftie! I absolutely love Taylor Swift!! Although I wasn’t a huge fan of Reputation, I absolutely adore Lover!! So when I saw a Lover Book Tag floating around, I knew that I had to do it! And then when Alexandra from Reading By Starlight tagged me, it was the universe telling me to do it now!

- TAG AS MANY SWIFTIES AS YOU WANT! (Or non-Swifties, maybe inspire them to listen to our Queen)
1. I Forgot That You Existed: A book that you want to forget you ever read
Leah On The Offbeat // I hated this book, hated Leah, and really hated how it ruined my beloved characters from Simon Vs, which is one of my favorite books ever!!!! I wish I had never read this and could remember my Simon characters in peace the way they were 😦
Song Note: This song is pretty catchy and cute. 3/5 stars
2. Cruel Summer: A book you turn to when the going gets rough
To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before // This book seriously makes me so happy! I’m always comforted when I read it, and it always puts me in a good mood.
Song Note: This song is AMAZING! One of my favorites!! 5/5
3. Lover : Your book OTP
Kaz and Inej // THESE TWO! I love them and I will defend them with my last dying breath!! After everything they’ve gone through all they deserve is to be happy with each otherrrr
Song Note: This book is so romantic it makes me long for my imaginary nonexistent boyfriend and feel very alone. 4/5
4. The Man: Your fave kick-ass female protagonist
Cinder // Cinder is the most kick ass of all the kick ass protagonists! She literally goes from a nobody mechanic to infiltrating the MOON and overthrowing the evil queen and helping all the people on earth and survives death so many times wow what a QUEEN.
Song Note: This song is super empowering and catchy it’s great! 4/5
5. The Archer: A book with good mental health representation
Starfish // This book has such fantastic anxiety rep! Even though I don’t have anxiety, I’m super introverted and socially awkward and related 10000x to all the moments when the main character was too scared to speak out or function really.
Song Note: This song is so dreamy and also the line “all of my enemies started out friends” cuts deep wow. Not too catchy or too much my taste though. 3/5
6. I Think He Knows: Your fave fictional crush
Nathaniel Thorne from Sorcery of Thorns // This boy this cinnamon roll is the best and I love him for all his moments wow he’s cute and funny and sarcastic and strong and powerful and loving and tortured and I love him.
Song Note: Another one that’s fun and catchy but not my favorite. 3/5 stars
7. Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince – Fave angsty romance
Jude and Cardan from The Cruel Prince // Can we call this angsty? It definitely feels that way but wow I love them so much.
Song Note: Pretty nice, kind of deep, is growing on me the more I listen to it. 4/5
8. Paper Rings – Book with an ugly cover that you absolutely adored
Permanent Record // Hear me out! I don’t think the cover is ugly per say, and I really like how it’s drawn and the color scheme and general mood and look of it. I just don’t like the two people kissing on the front? It’s so much more than just a romance and I low-key don’t like super romantic romance covers they make me very uncomfortable to read in public lmao.
Song Note: At first I was like eh but it’s actually really catchy and great. 4/5
9. Cornelia Street – A book or series you never want(ed) to end
The Lunar Chronicles // This series is just fantastic–hands down my favorite YA series! I just love retellings, and having them set in space added another level of amazing and Winter was 800+ pages and I was thinking the whole way through not long enough!
Song Note: I LOVE IT 5/5
10. Death By A Thousand Cuts – A book or series that deserved a better ending
Daughter of Smoke and Bone // This one was such a let down for me because DOSAB was amazing and I gave it 5 stars!! But by the end, Dreams of Gods and Monsters, I was bored, annoyed, disliked, and only gave it 2 stars…
Song Note: Eh don’t really like it but still okay 2/5
11. London Boy – Your fave British male protagonist
Henry from Red, White, and Royal Blue // DUH! Isn’t everybody obsessed with this cinnamon roll of a British prince?
Song Note: This is super fun and catchy and I want a London Boy pls. 4/5
12. Soon You’ll Get Better – A book that your heart will never recover from
Crooked Kingdom // Seriously when I finished reading this book I was messed up. I rambled incoherently about this book and nothing else to everybody for about a week and to this day I’m not okay.
Song Note: This is kind of heartbreaking!! 4/5
13. False God – A character you would leap into the burning pits of hell to save
Simon from Simon Vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda // Simon is such a sweet, smol cinnamon roll and he must be protected from this cruel world at all costs.
Song Note: I don’t really like this one that much, it’s okay. 2/5
14. You Need To Calm Down – A book with a powerful message
The Hate U Give // Nobody is surprised because this book has such an important and powerful message about racism and speaking up and I don’t think I really need to say anything.
Song note: This song is my jam it’s so catchy and the message is great! 4/5
15. Afterglow – A book you want to give a second chance
Illuminae // I’m not too sure about this one. People like it but I didn’t, so I never bothered reading the sequel. But some people have told me that the sequel is better than the original so I should give it a second chance? I haven’t decided yet.
Song note: I’ve only listened to this like once it’s okay but don’t really like it. 2/5
16. ME! – Best character development
Lei from Girls of Paper and Fire // This girl! She starts out quiet and afraid, but she turns into such a fierce, strong, empowered, determined girl who is willing to fight!
Song note: This wasn’t my favorite song at first when it was released but it’s really grown on me and now I love it! 4/5
17. It’s Nice To Have A Friend – Fave friends-to-lovers story
Since You’ve Been Gone // I absolutely love seeing Sloane and Frank’s friendship develop first and so when it turns into lovers it’s just too cute and perfect!
Song Note: I like the message of this song but the song itself isn’t too catchy or great. 2/5
18. Daylight – If you could only read one book or series again and again, what would it be?
Harry Potter // There was no other answer. Obviously. This is the series I’ve reread and reread the most times and every time I reread it I find something new and enchanting and know if I could only read this series I would be happy ❤
Song note: This is the perfect song so enchanting best way to end the album! 5/5
