Top Ten Tuesday // Rainy Day Reads

Top Ten Tuesday is a book blog meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl! This week’s prompt is Rainy Day Reads. This is kinda coming late for me, since where I live in sunny Southern California, it rained pretty much nonstop through February and part of March, but now we’re getting nothing but normal sun every day! Is it summer yet? Nonetheless, I realize in the rest of the world that actually experiences seasons there are lots of rainy days so here’s some books I love snuggling up to read on rainy days! I particularly love reading longer fantasy books while the weather is stormy outside and I can feel safe inside and get lost in a huge adventure!

  1. Getting lost in a story is the best way to pass the rainy days! I loved Six of Crows and The Cruel Prince; they totally captivated me. I also really liked To Kill A Kingdom. It was so immersive and the story was done so well!

  2. Fantasy books are always a go-to for really anything for me. I’ve read about 90% of those on your list and they are all amazing.

I hate you for your weather though LOL I’m in Canada and we had two snow storms again this month. We are JUST getting rid of most of it now. UGHHH

  3. Great list! Six of Crows made my list this week, too, and I really want to read The Gilded Wolves and Girls of Paper and Fire soon. 🙂

  4. Omg, where to begin? Harry Potter is of course a must, Cinder is always good vibes, ACOTAR is forever (and ever), and I legit just pulled Six of Crows from my shelf to read again!! Caraval is in my TBR pile and now I’m itching to pick that one up too… there are just so many good books! I have to learn to read faster lol
