Top Ten Tuesday || Favorite Movies!

Top Ten Tuesday is a book blog meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl! This week’s prompt is Bingeworthy TV Shows/Movies. Here’s the thing–I actually don’t watch TV. When I was a kid, we never had cable (and this was back before all this easy Netflix stuff haha remember the good ole days) so I just never watched it.

In fact, I’m so grateful that we never had that chance because I think that’s why I’m such a reader! While everyone else was watching TV, I was reading. I read because I had nothing else to do! And now I’m an avid reader!! Yay!!

But, of course, I still have some favorite movies that I LOVE to watch. Here are, in no particular order, ten of My Favorite Movies.

1. Harry Potter (ALL of them but especially Prisoner of Azkaban ❤ ): I mean. Who would I be if I didn’t include Harry Potter?

2. The Greatest Showman: Why don’t we REEEEWRITEEEEE THE STARSSSSSS!!! Haha I’m unhealthily obsessed with this one.

3. Frozen: I went through this faze where I was way too obsessed with this movie. And then I went through the obligatory ugh frozen I hate this movie faze. Now it’s been some time and I’m comfortably loving (but not obsessed with) it 🙂

4. To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before: ❤ ❤ ❤ no explanation necessary

5. Mean Girls: It’s iconic. Also, on Wednesdays, we wear pink 🙂

6. Back To The Future: Idk. I just really like this one and it’s so fun!

7. The Princess Bride: Ahhhhh looooove this movie I honestly can’t believe there are people who haven’t seen it.

8. Crazy Rich Asians: I literally watched it something like two hours ago and I had to edit this scheduled post to put it in because I love it so much!!!! Seriously, if you haven’t seen it yet, WATCH IT! One of the best movies I’ve seen this year! The Asian culture representation made me insanely happy ❤ And if nothing else, it’s a beautiful love story ❤ ❤ Also I’m currently listening to the soundtrack as I write this post haha 🙂

9. Titanic: Also the hopeless romantic in me.

10. Pitch Perfect: I just love this one omg. The first one is like one of my all time favorites, the second one was decent, and the third one is honestly one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen it sucked so bad but the first one is still amazing ❤

  1. Loved To All The Boys! They did such a great job with it! And Back to the Future and Princess Bride are both awesome. I’ve seen Back to the Future so many times and I never get tired of that one. 🙂

I saw Mean Girls for the first time recently too and it was hilarious!

  3. Titanic was such a beautiful movie.

I remember Back to the Future Day a few years ago. That was pretty fun. They had a thing at our movie theater where we watched all three movies back to back.

Frozen had such wonderful music. Too bad it’s been all over the place so much that people got tired of it.

  4. Oh my gosh. Like all my fave movies are on your list. I recently found out my grandfather (who watches lots of TV and movies – mostly obscure ones) had never seen the Princess Bride so I immediately sat him down and made him watch it. And Back to the Future! I feel like people don’t love it enough? My fave is the second one. Titanic is still my all-time favorite, and I was definitely way too obsessed with Frozen than I should have been for my age. But I’ve also settled nicely into a comfortable “love but not obsessed” phase 🙂

  5. Lots of faves and guilty pleasures on this list this week! And I’m so glad you edited your list to include Crazy Rich Asians, which I totally agree was one of the best movies of the year so far! I went the TV route instead of movies because I couldn’t possibly narrow it down! Feel free to check it out here: http://bit.ly/2PE9nUo
