WWW Wednesday 5/29/18

WWW Wednesday is a book blog meme hosted by Taking On A World of Words where bloggers answer the following three questions: What are you currently reading? What did you just finish reading? What are you reading next?

Currently Reading: Daughter of the Siren Queen. I’m SO GLAD I was smart enough to check out both Pirate King and Siren Queen from the library at the same time because I must know how this duology ends!!!! You go Alosa!!!

Just Finished: It’s been another productive reading week for me! I think this is really boding well for what my reading will be like this summer 🙂

• The Shadow Queen: 3 stars. I really enjoyed the premise of this, and the main characters, I just wish the world and the romance had been more fully developed!
• Anna and the French Kiss: 1.5 stars. The book felt childish and immature, cliched, and just all around ridiculous. Bonus half star for Paris though ❤
• Daughter of the Pirate King: 4 stars. This book was just so fun! I loved Alosa, and how strong and fearless she was! I just wish there had been a bit more showing that telling.

Reading Next: I’m not entirely sure what I’m reading next! I checked out a lot of books from the library recently, and am particularly excited to dive into Simon Vs The Homo Sapiens Agenda and The Belles! Any recommendations on which one to read first?
