WWW Wednesday is a book blog meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words where bloggers answer the following three questions: What are you currently reading? What did you just finish reading? What are you reading next?
Like last week, I’m in between books right now. So I’m doing currently reading/reading next in the same go. Spring break is coming up though, so I’m anticipating reading a looot of books soon 🙂
Currently Reading/Reading Next: Probably The Queen’s Rising by Rebecca Ross. The synopsis sounds really intriguing: magic powers, secret uprisings, and more! Also let’s have cover appreciation.
Just Finished: I just finished Fireblood by Elly Blake. While I thought the first book was relatively meh, this one was great! Such mc growth ❤ And down with (a lot of) the annoying overused tropes! The only reason I didn’t give it higher than 4 stars is because of an infuriating “love triangle.” Full review coming soon!

I’m glad Fireblood is good 🙂 I thought Frostblood was ‘meh’ as well, hopefully the love triangle won’t bother me too much ❤

I’m glad you liked Fireblood. I was definitely unimpressed with book one but I was still planning on reading the sequel. And I hope you like The Queen’s Rising! I had my problems with it but hopefully you have better luck with the story!

The dreaded love triangle. I bought Frostblood last year and was really looking forward to reading it until I found out that there would be a love triangle in the second book. I’m glad you still enjoyed it though.

Whaaaaat there’s a love triangle in Fireblood?! I was not expecting that lol. (granted it’s been awhile since I read the first book so I’ll probably have to reread it before I get to the sequel!)

I am also between books right now. I’m going through this weird phase where I keep starting new books but not finishing them… don’t really know whats up with that? But I’m also starting spring break so hopefully I’ll get some time to crack down on some reading then! Hope your next book is amazing 🙂
