A-Z Bookish Survey Tag!

Okay so like I saw this post a reeeaaally long time ago and then I wrote it up but I didn’t publish it and then I kind of forgot about it and it’s kinda outdated is anyone doing this anymore now? Also I don’t remember who I saw this from… #badblogger. But I mean I wrote it don’t wanna let it go to waste so I’m publishing my A-Z Bookish Survey Tag!

A-Author You’ve Read The Most Books From: Meg Cabot! She’s written so many books that I’m pretty sure she isn’t human. This was an ordeal but I counted her books that I’ve read and they are… The Princess Diaries (11 books), From the Notebooks of a Middle School Princess (1), Avalon High (1), All American Girl (2), 1-800-Where-R-U (5), The Mediator (7), Airhead (3), Abandon (3), Teen Idol (1), How to be Popular (1), Pants on Fire (1), and Jinx (1). For a grand total of 37 books! (might have done math wrong). And that’s not even all her books; she has literally dozens more!!

B-Best Sequel Ever: A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas. I mean… it’s it just universally agreed that this is the best sequel ever? And for good reason. Reason that starts with a R and ends with a D 😉 But besides him it’s such an awesome book Feyre becomes so badass and there’s so much action so much going on it’s just the BEST!

C-Currently Reading: A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J Maas! This series omg is a m a z i n g ❤ Also just saying I got ACOMAF and ACOWAR at the same time and I was lowkey annoyed that her tattoo was on different hands like get it together publishers but now I get it 😉

D-Drink of Choice While Reading: I don’t usually drink anything while reading! Don’t wanna be spilling on that gorgeous book ❤

E-E-reader or Physical Book: Physical book. No question. There’s nothing that can replace the feeling of a solid book in your hands, and being able to turn the pages. Also I just don’t like reading off a screen.

F-Fictional Character You Probably Would Have Actually Dated in High School: Michael Moscavitz from The Princess Diaries. I am a complete nerd with something like a 4.3 GPA, and all of my friends are nerds, and pretty much nerds are the best people soooo xD I mean, like, I don’t do sports; I wouldn’t have anything to talk about with a jock or anything! Plus Michael is super sweet! And nice. And caring. And awesome ❤

G-Glad You Gave This Book A Chance: Tempest by Julie Cross. I hesitated because I usually don’t read science fiction/time travel, but I loved this entire series!

H-Hidden Gem Book: Wendy Darling series by Colleen Oakes. Seriously, why do these books have so few Goodreads reviews? They’re awesome! (also how can you see those covers and not read them???)

I-Important Moment In Your Reader Life: Starting this blog for sure 🙂 The blogging community is so awesome 🙂 I’ve already met so many amazing people and look forwards to meeting more ❤

J-Just Finished: ACOMAF!

K-Kinds Of Books You Won’t Read: Horror. I won’t watch horror movies either. I get too scared. More the happy princess kind of girl.

L-Longest Book You Ever Read: Winter by Marissa Meyer, clocking in at 827 pages. I loved it so much that I read it in one day though xD

N-Number of Bookcases You Own: One. One shelf, not even one bookcase. I have, like, less than 50 books total, including kid books like those Rainbow Magic fairies. I get 99% of my books from the library because this girl is broke. It’s a struggle when I really, really want to re read something, and have to go to the library and pray it’s not checked out to read it 😦

O-One Book You Have Read Multiple Times: Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine. All time favorite book, no question. I’ve read it so many times that the spine is pretty much destroyed and it can sit open to any page. Which is tragic but also it means it’s well loved ❤

R-Reading Regret: Not reading any J.R.R. Tolken. It’s such a classic but I’ve never read it, and can’t commit to reading something so looooong right now.

S-Series You Started And Need To Finish (All Books Are Out In Series): Too many series. I can’t keep them straight. I remember really liking Wither by Lauren DeStefano, but I never finished that series so maybe that one? But it’s been so long that I no longer remember what it’s even about… 😥

T-Three Of Your All Times Favorite Books: Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine was my absolute favorite as a kid and I still love it. Winter by Marissa Meyer (and all The Lunar Chronicles) are my absolute favorite YA book series right now! And I’m pretty sure Harry Potter goes without saying! (My favorite is Goblet of Fire <3)

U-Unapologetic Fangirl For: Harry Potter!

V-Very Excited For This Release More Than All The Others: Archenemies by Marissa Meyer. I know I’ll love it because I loved Renegades and that was a very, very mean cliffhanger to leave me on!!

W-Worst Bookish Habit: Using all the random things around me as bookmarks. Including but not limited to: math worksheet, pencil, eraser, phone, earbuds, edge of blanket, place mat, stress ball, spoon, another book. Hey, at least it’s better than dog earing or otherwise harming the book!

X-X Marks The Spot – Start At The Top Left Of Your Bookshelf And Pick The 27th Book: Year of the Rat by Grace Lin, which is fitting since it was just recently Chinese New Year 🙂

Z-ZZZ Snatcher Book – Last Book That Kept You Up Way Too Late: A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas! Of course I had to stay up reading it!! How could you not stay up reading that amazing monster??

That was the A-Z book tag! I’m super behind the times and late but feel free to do it if you’re haven’t 🙂

  1. The Wendy darling books look really interesting. Such fine covers. I loved Ella enchanted, both the book and the movie, have you watched the movie? Great post, fun to read. Have a great week

  2. Haha, I’m the same way with bookmarks (or should I say “bookmarks”). When I start a new book, I very rarely remember to grab an actual bookmark with it, so I’ll just grab whatever’s around when I need a place holder.
