Seven facts about me!

1. I love baking. I love making pies, cookies, cupcakes, egg tarts, macaroons, etc, etc. My friends know me as the one who brings them all sweets 🙂 My favorite is making frosting roses. Whenever anyone has a birthday, I jump at the chance to make them something!

 

2. I’m addicted to Disney. I know ridiculous facts about Disney films, especially the princesses. Disneyland is pretty much my favorite place in the world to go (I love Splash Mountain!) Although I know it’ll never happen, my dream job is to be a princess at Disneyland 🙂

3. I’m biracial. I’m half-white and half-Taiwanese. I love how I get to experience both cultures! In my house, we celebrate Christmas, Chinese New Year, etc. We need to have more books with biracial characters ❤

4. I love taking pictures. Whenever I go anywhere with my friends or family, they all know they need to stop so I can take some random pictures. Unfortunately, I have a 16GB phone and am deleting pictures every day. Fortunately, I just steal someone else’s phone to take pics when I’m out of storage! (I took all the pictures in this post!–seemed fitting).

 

5. I read to little kids. I volunteer at my public library reading picture books to little kiddies, and it’s so rewarding! I love talking with them, and getting them super enthusiastic about reading, which I clearly am!

6. I’ve donated three feet of hair. I’ve donated a foot of hair (which takes approximately two years to grow) three times. I’m planning on doing it again this summer 🙂

7. I’m teaching myself guitar and ukulele. I’m not very good at either–and I’m completely horrible at singing–but I picked up the basics pretty quickly and just love making music in general 🙂

  1. OMG! I’m so glad I got to know more about you! We have so much in common and I just LOVE everything that you have mentioned! I think it’s amazing you volunteer at the library(I do as well!), I agree there should be more biracial princesses(I’m mixed with Fillipino,Puerto Rican and White Lol), and that you have donated your hair (I donated mine when I was diagnosed with cancer 4 years ago!) I don’t know if I will be able to complete this tag because I don’t have a working PC but thanks so much for thinking of me, Kay!😄😍

It’s so cool that you’re mixed race too; I love meeting more biracial people! And no problem if you can’t do it; of course I had to think of you since you’re one of the best people I know on the internet 🙂 ❤ ❤

  3. Giiirl you just became my favorite when you mentioned baking, photography and disney because those are literally,well and books of course, my favorite things ever haha. I have never been to disney but that’s on my bucket list so I will go one day. I also think it’s really cool that you donate your hair and volunteer at a library, that tells a lot about what kind of person you are(AN AMAZING ONE). I tried learning to play the guitar but I’m really horrible at it so now I just like to listen at other people playing it, that I do well so I think it’s really cool that you are teaching yourself!

  5. Okay, my only words: YOU’RE REALLY AMAZING!!!
    Okay, actually I still have many things to say… hehe… Firstly, thank youuuuu!!! *HUgs* It’s so nice to know more about you especially that they are all interesting things about you..Though it’s funny, I seem to be the opposite of every fact of yours. I don’t bake, And don’t love sweets, I love Disney movies but don’t like to be a princess. i’m pure Filipino which i resent a little because my height is too filipino.Im not good at taking pictures. hehe, though I wanna read to someone, kids aren’t my thing… they’re too noisy..hahaha/..I haven’t donated any inch of my hair because they’re usually chemically treated.. I dye my hair once in a while or rebonded them. 😦 And Im definitely not into music.. You should hear me sing, you will pity me and I will pity your ears.. LOL. Hahahha…
    Isn’t it amazing we’re totally opposite which isn’t a problem at all.. NIce to meet you here. 🙂

    1. *Hugs you back!* Haha the height must be another difference–my parents and brother are all super short but for some reason I’m tall…maybe I was switched at birth xD. It’s super cool that we’re so different but we can still connect over our mutual love of books! ❤ ❤ ❤

  8. OMG I love baking and Disney too! I’m actually going to Disneyland this Saturday with my boyfriend. I also really love taking pics and meeting the characters. I feel awkward and shy every time I do, but it’s really fun. I like taking pics too, but haven’t had the time in a while.
